Bridgeway Health was created around a simple idea: people should not have to navigate challenges alone. Our role is to help identify what is getting in the way, build a thoughtful plan, and support each person and family as they move forward.
Our Name, Our Approach
A bridge helps people cross obstacles they cannot cross alone. A way is a path forward.
Together, those ideas shape how we approach care at Bridgeway Health.
Connected Care
Two areas of care. One connected practice.
01
Therapy Services
Bridgeway’s therapy services are designed to serve across the lifespan. Much of our care is pediatric-focused, while adult therapy primarily supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and others with functional support needs related to communication, mobility, daily living, participation, and independence.
Bridgett has been a licensed occupational therapist since 2017. Her work is grounded in sensory processing, nervous system regulation, development, participation, and individualized, family-centered care.
She looks beyond a single task or behavior to understand the whole child, the demands of everyday life, and the supports that may help meaningful progress take shape.
Bridgett is also a Professional Partner with Moving Mountains Autism Foundation.
WHY BRIDGEWAY
Why did I start Bridgeway Health?
Because I know what it looks like when families have to search, travel, wait, and piece together the care they need.
I grew up in Southeast Kentucky, and I have spent my career working with children and families here. Over the years, I have seen how difficult it can be to find the right services close to home, especially when a person needs support from more than one type of provider.
I wanted to build something different.
Bridgeway was never just about opening an occupational therapy clinic. I wanted to create a place where people do not have to feel lost in the system or figure everything out alone. A place where providers communicate, families are part of the team, and care is built around the person rather than fitting the person into a program.
That is where the name Bridgeway came from.
A bridge helps us cross something we may not be able to cross alone.
A way gives us a path forward.
Whether someone is working toward greater independence, learning to regulate big emotions, navigating a difficult season of life, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, I want Bridgeway to be a place where they feel seen, supported, and understood.
We are starting with occupational therapy, counseling, and behavioral health, and we will continue growing intentionally as we identify the needs of the people and communities we serve.
Because people in Southeast Kentucky deserve thoughtful, connected care close to home.
Bridgett is also the founder of Regulate & Thrive, which offers free resources for families.
Bridgett has spent her career serving children and families in Southeast Kentucky. Licensed since 2017, she worked with a multidisciplinary therapy clinic, where she served as clinical coordinator for its Corbin location, supporting day-to-day clinical operations and collaboration across occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and working closely with families, schools, physicians, and behavioral health providers. Her clinical experience includes autism, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, ADHD, executive functioning, fine and gross motor development, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
